ABOUT THIS PROJECT

MARFEL (Mobile Augmented Reality Food Exchange Lists) is a nutrition education and visualization tool that can aid both Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians (RNDs),  and nutrition & health enthusiasts. Developed for the DOST-FNRI, the project includes a mobile application integrated with Augmented Reality and a web application for content management.

LEARNINGS / ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Created and maintained detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including system specifications, process flows, technical reports, and user manuals.
• Facilitated team coordination by ensuring clear communication and task alignment across all members
• Acted as a key liaison between the team and the client, gathering requirements, clarifying expectations, and translating them into actionable tasks
• Supported in the full-stack development of the web counterpart of the MARFEL application, including the administrative portal and landing page of the software.

Diageo is a gamified kiosk which allows customer to play mini games using a large standee Android device to win vouchers and prizes.

LEARNINGS / ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Supported in the development of back office functionalities with focus on application interface customization (colors, fonts, and images)
• Improved games by customizing applied game libraries to achieve desired user experience as indicated in provided design flow

A sales invoice system for Panda Ballpen which modernizes the company’s invoicing processes from paper and pen form to a digitalized generation of invoice.

LEARNINGS / ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Independently completed project including coordination of features with client, developing functionalities, software testing, and end-user training
• Implemented components for real-time rendering of data using Livewire
• Developed and implemented functionality for generating and printing invoices using client templates

Enhanced version of the CHO Pharmacy web application, wherein key features and functionalities are revamped for improved user experience.

• Overhauled outdated code base refactored database design  to optimize performance and data accessibility 
• Enhanced user experience for dispenser (cashier) users with improved real-time display of data and easier product selection
• Refactored the report generation process to align the client’s updated templates, integrating optimized queries for faster and more accurate data retrieval

An android-based point-of-sale solution designed to facilitate transactions, manage inventory, and provide operational insights for retail businesses.

LEARNINGS / ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Improved code reusability by breaking down complex UIs to smaller, reusable widgets.
• Implemented server-side APIs to efficiently retrieve and transmit data between the web server and client application.
• Optimized widget rendering by leveraging providers for state management and update widgets efficiently.
• Implemented receipt printing with the use of a bluetooth receipt printer ensuring connection with portable (tablet) device.
